Most people use AI as a separate tab, but the magic happens when AI lives where your data does.

I spent the last week integrating across my entire Google stack — from automating data in Sheets and visual storytelling in Slides to organizing my messy thoughts in Keep.

Now, throw in the hands-free curation of YouTube Music, and it's no longer a chatbot; it's a productivity powerhouse.

Here's how I turned my workspace into a high-output engine.

Google Slides

No more writer's block when staring at a blank slide

Since I have a premium plan for Gemini, Google unlocks its AI bot across all its Workspace apps, including Slides and Sheets . Instead of staring at a Click to add titlebox for 20 minutes, I can start my workflow in no time.

I can fire up a new presentation, click the Geminiicon in the upper-right corner, and write a text prompt to generate a slide quickly.

If you prefer to work from the Gemini web app, open Canvas and add a detailed prompt to create an entire presentation in a few minutes.

Still, I recommend creating and adding slides from the Slides web app. That way, you can easily import the slides and make small tweaks to match your preferences.

Thanks to Gemini, I have officially said goodbye to generic stock photos. Using the Help me Visualizepanel, I can generate high-quality, on-brand images instantly.

If I need a "Minimalist 3D render of a golden gear in a dark corporate void with cinematic lighting to match my desk's vibe," I can have it in seconds.

Gemini does 80% of the heavy lifting, like the structure, design, images, and more. I no longer fight with text boxes; I just fine-tune the message.

YouTube Music

Gemini finds the music I like

Find music using Gemini

If you think connecting a music app to an AI is a gimmick, you are missing the biggest workflow hack of all. I don't scroll through playlists anymore; I let Gemini do the job.

When I'm diving into a deep-work session in Sheets, I don't ask for "Focus music." I get specific and ask Gemini:

@YouTubeMusic Play low-fi beats with no lyrics, strictly under 80 BPM to help me focus.

It pulls a radio station without me leaving the chat interface.

In the future, I would love the ability to create playlists with simple prompts using the web app (that option is available on the YouTube Music mobile apps).

Google Sheets

Spreadsheet formulas were never my strong suit

Gemini creates charts

I used to spend more time Googling how to write a complex VLOOKUP or QUERY than looking at my data.

Since connecting with Gemini, I've stopped fighting with syntax and started asking for insights. It's like having a senior data analyst built into my spreadsheets.

I don't memorize formulas anymore. Instead, I launch Gemini and type:

Create a formula that calculates the month-over-month growth in Column C, but only for rows where the region is "North America."

Gemini generates a formula, explains how it works, and lets me insert it with one click.

I can also generate pivot tables and charts from the Gemini sidebar.

However, my favorite feature is summarization. If a client or team member sends me a messy spreadsheet, I ask Gemini to summarize it in simple terms, and it does the job without breaking a sweat.

I can also pull information from a relevant spreadsheet using the Gemini web app.

For example, I can ask "Get me the total sales figure for November from the Office-MacBook Pro Spreadsheet," and receive an answer without opening the spreadsheet. That's neat.

Google Keep

Gemini reads my notes and keeps me organized

use Gemini to pull information

I have always been a heavy note-taker, but my biggest struggle was using the information I captured. Connecting Gemini to Keep changed that overnight.

Now, I tell Gemini:

Create a packing list for a three-day business trip to Tokyo, including tech gear and formal wear.

It creates a list instantly, categorized, and ready to check off on my phone.

That's not all. I can use the Gemini mobile or web apps to get information from my Keep note. It's the ultimate time-saver.

I can ask Gemini to get my kitchen inventory from the "My Sweet Home" note and get all the equipment in no time.

The possibilities are endless. Check out my dedicated post to learn how Gemini manages my Google Keep notes and saves me hours of planning .

Stop typing, start integrating

You don't need a complex 20-step automation to see these results. Start small. Connect Gemini to your Keep account for a day, or let it assist in your next Sheets analysis.

The "steroids" effect comes after a week or two when you don't have to switch tabs or manually format a slide.

After you experience that seamless flow, backed by the perfect YouTube Music focus track , you can't go back to the old way of working.
