Google's latest perk for AI subscribers is a major boost in cloud storage.
"We know your memories and projects need space to grow, so we’re expanding Google AI Pro’s storage offering from 2TB to 5TB—at no additional cost,” Shimrit Ben-Yair, Google’s VP for Photos and Google One subscriptions, wrote on X.
The offer applies to new and existing subscribers. Current users will be automatically upgraded to the additional storage. You can confirm the upgrade on your Google One dashboard . In my case, the additional storage appeared right away.
Barring any partner or company discounts, Google’s AI Pro plan costs $19.99 per month, and it can be shared with up to five family members.
Compared with the free or AI Plus plans, AI Pro offers more usage and upload limits in Gemini . You also get more credits for video generation on Flow, as well as access to premium AI features in Google Meet and Calendar, and Gemini’s “ auto browse ” mode in Chrome.
The only tier above AI Pro is AI Ultra, which costs $249.99 per month but adds more monthly credits, a Google Home Premium Advanced plan, early access to Project Mariner and Project Genie , a YouTube Premium individual plan, and 30TB of storage.
