Apple is bringing two new apps to iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices with the release of iOS 26 , iPadOS 26, and macOS 26, respectively. The Liquid Glass redesigned update will add the Apple Games app and Preview app to the Home Screen.

Apple Games is being called the new central hub for gaming on iOS devices. The app will have a Home view, like PlayStation and Xbox, which will keep users connected to their favorite games, give recommendations, and make it easier to return to recent titles.

The app has different sections. The Arcade tab shows games available in the App Store's Arcade section, which is Apple's subscription-based model like PS Plus. The Play Together tab shows multiplayer challenges and Game Center data. The Library tab shows all the games you have installed and your achievements. Apple Games will be available this fall across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

The Preview app, used on Mac for viewing and editing PDFs and images, is coming to iPhone and iPad for the first time. Preview is to have a dedicated interface for browsing PDFs and images saved in iCloud, on the device, or from other Files app sources, as reported by 9to5Google.

Editing tools like resize and rotate are there, along with document scanning, PDF AutoFill, and the ability to create new images from scratch or from clipboard content. Files and other apps will now open PDFs and images in Preview by default.
