A few years back, Amazon quietly released a new Fire HD 10 tablet . It's lighter, 25% faster, and longer-lasting than the previous iteration . It also has better cameras and support for Amazon's stylus. We were pretty surprised it didn't go on sale for Prime Day. In fact, the Fire HD 10, shockingly, hasn't seen a discount since Black Friday last year. So, when I spotted today's deal, I had to shout it out.

The Fire HD 10 tablet isn't going to wow you like, say, a 2026 iPad Air. It's a no frills tablet ideal for those who just want something portable to browse social media, stream their favorite shows, and maybe answer a few emails. Mashable's reviewer SaVanna Shoemaker said it's "lighter and faster than its predecessors, with a long battery life and vivid picture that makes it great for on-the-go entertainment." Compared to other well-known tablets , she also adds that it's an "excellent value."
If you're looking for a tablet that won't break the bank, but provides all the basics for entertainment in a feather-light frame, the Fire HD 10 is a solid pick. We particularly recommend it when it's under $100.
