Since 2015, Pro-Ject has released numerous special-edition turntables as part of its  Artist Collection , which celebrates some of the most iconic artists and brands of all time. In recent years, the Austrian hi-fi brand has released uniquely designed turntables for Elvis , AC/DC , Metallica and The Beatles (to name a few).

Now, it has added another one: Harley-Davidson

True, not exactly an artist, but Pro-Ject claims that its Harley-Davidson turntable "brings the 'mechanical soul' of the open road to your living space." Designed as a tribute to the iconic motorcycle brand, the special-edition turntable has a chassis shaped like Harley-Davidson's Bar & Shield logo.

Pro-Ject says the turntable captures "the industrial elegance of a Harley-Davidson cruiser." It combines rugged materials like polished aluminum and stainless steel with a genuine leather mat, reminiscent of a classic bike saddle.

The special-edition turntable is aimed at Harley-Davidson superfans, but also at those into serious vinyl hi-fi. It's very much a high-end turntable, made with premium components and advanced engineering. It costs $3,299, which, if you put your biker helmet on for a second, is a fraction of the cost of a Harley-Davidson cruiser.

Pro-Ject hasn't specified how many of these special edition turntables it will produce. But judging by its previous releases, don't expect many.
