It's a surprisingly feature-rich speaker at its usual price, but easily one of the best options under $100 while it's on sale.

Soundcore equipped the Boom Go 3i with a 15W audio system comprising a single woofer and bass radiator. The speaker's "BassUp Mode," enabled by pressing a button, significantly boosts the low end if you need a little more "oomph." If you've gotten separated from people on a hike, you can enable the speaker's built-in alarm by pushing its power button five times in a row. The speaker will blare at 92 dB, so the folks around you should hear it clearly. You can also use the Boom Go 3i as a voice amplifier to get people's attention.
The Boom Go 3i is small enough to fit in any backpack or bag and comes with a built-in dual-slot strap that lets you clip it onto a backpack or carry it around. The strap is made from silicone, so it shouldn't wear out easily, and you can even clip it onto the handlebars of a bicycle. Despite its small size, the speaker is very durable. It has an IP68 rating, which means it's dustproof and can be completely submerged in water without damage. Similarly, Soundcore says the speaker can be dropped from about 3 feet and still be fine.
One of the Boom Go 3i's most surprising features is its 24-hour battery life. You may only need to charge it once or twice a week, which is great for a compact speaker. If your smartphone's battery is running low, you can plug it into the Boom Go 3i to use it as a portable battery pack. Soundcore says the speaker can charge an iPhone 17's battery from zero to 40 percent in an hour or so, which isn't too fast, but better than nothing. An LCD screen on the bottom will show its current battery percentage, so you'll know when it's time to top it up.
