How CNM is leading the way in quantum computer workforce training

NEW MEXICO  (KRQE) –  Earlier this year, Elevate Quantum, a consortium organization based in the Mountain West received $127 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Commerce.

As a member of Elevate Quantum, Central New Mexico Community College is primed to begin development of the workforce that will help bring the quantum computing age to the state. Dr. Brian Rashap, an instructor at CNM and, Jake Douglas, Quantum Business Development Lead at Sandia National Labs discuss the educational partnership and how this funding is benefiting the Mountain West.
