Google's latest Pixel 10 launch introduced support for the new Qi2 wireless charging standard, complete with magnetic attachments similar to Apple's MagSafe accessories. But early buyers are already reporting problems with one of Google's products: the Pixelsnap Ring Stand . According to some users, the stand starts to break after only a few days of use, indicating a quality control problem.

The Pixelsnap Ring Stand is made for two things: It can work as a flat wireless charger or be propped up as a stand using a hinged outer ring. However, users claim the screws around the hinge are coming loose, which means the charger can no longer stay upright. The charging aspect still works, but the stand part is unusable. Some buyers have tried tightening the screws themselves, but that isn't always a reliable fix, Tech Radar reports . (No one should have to repair weeks-old hardware, either.)

Google has yet to comment on the complaints, and the Pixelsnap Ring Stand remains listed on the Google Store. Online reports are limited to a few users, so it is unclear how big the problem might be.

If you're wary of the Pixelsnap ring but want a magnetic charger, third parties such as Spigen, Ringke, Anker, and UAG offer Qi2 charging stands and mounts.
