Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26200.5702 (KB5062653) to the Dev Channel. This version brings a major update to " Click to Do ," which now features image-based actions for Copilot+ PCs.
"Click to Do" is designed to help users interact with displayed content more easily. It detects text and images on the screen, then suggests possible actions, such as copying, saving, or searching. All initial image and text analysis takes place locally on the device, which means users' content isn't transmitted via the internet until they confirm an action. The tool can be activated using keyboard shortcuts, a touchscreen gesture, or the Snipping Tool.
An addition known as the "describe image" action has also been made available to Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs. This gives on-device descriptions of charts, photos, and drawings. It's helpful for users who need quick information about visual material. Microsoft says that this feature will soon be available for AMD and Intel Copilot+ PCs.
To use Click to Do, users need a Copilot+ PC with at least a 40 TOPS neural processing unit, 16 GB of RAM, eight logical processors, and 256 GB of storage. Users should also update the Snipping Tool to the latest release. New intelligent actions tied to text, such as rewrites and summaries, depend on the system language and account sign-in.
