TP-Link Deco 7 Mesh Deal
The Deco 7 is a three-node system that covers up to 6,600 square feet. Now, you may be wondering why you need that much coverage—some mansions aren't even that big. The operative words here are "up to." If you're in an older house with plaster walls, or you've got multiple floors that need coverage, the signals won't travel as far, which reduces the square footage you can blanket in Wi-Fi 7 goodness.
As for Wi-Fi 7 itself, this system is a good way to future-proof your network with the latest Wi-Fi standard. It delivers up to 4,324Mbps on the 5GHz band and up to 688Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. It doesn't support the 6GHz band, but it doesn't need to: Most of your devices will be connecting at 5GHz or 2.4Ghz anyway. It's also got a 2.5GbE port, so your wired connection to your ISP won't cause any bottlenecks.
We've reviewed plenty of Deco mesh systems over the years, and while we haven't reviewed this specific model, I'm still confident in recommending it. Both the Deco 7 Pro and Deco 7 Elite received "Excellent" ratings when we tested them, and this system is nearly as capable as they are and a whole lot cheaper, especially with its 20% discount on Prime Day.
