Dell Still Wants to Save You Money With These 4th of July PC Deals
It was a lovely holiday weekend full of deals , and all of our favorite computer companies celebrated with serious discounts. Dell had some of the deepest price cuts around on laptops and desktops, and while some of them vanished as soon as the 4th ended, a few are still up. These three offers aren't guaranteed to last much longer, so if you're PC shopping on July 6, check them before they get taken down.
Dell Laptop Deal
Alienware 16X Aurora Gaming Laptop
Dell's Alienware brand visited the fireworks factory with 4th of July discounts, and this $1,200 cut on the Aurora 16X is a massive deal. This ultra-powerful portable packs massive heat in the processor and RAM department, with a very generous 32GB of memory paired with a Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, making it capable of running just about everything you can dream of. While the RTX 5060 graphics card isn't the peak of the Blackwell series, it still delivers high framerates and solid performance.
In our full review , we gave this laptop an "Excellent" rating, praising its sturdy design with an all-aluminum lid that looks sharp and subtle, along with a massive port selection, good heat management, and an impressive 240Hz WQXGA display. This is a top contender at this price, and if you're looking to play 2026's new games on the go, the Aurora 16X will get it done.
Dell Desktop Deals
Dell Tower Plus Desktop
Dell desktops keep America running, as they can be found in uncountable offices around the country, humming away on productivity tasks. The Dell Tower Plus is a performance-boosted upgrade of its flagship desktop, and in our review , we gave it an Editors' Choice award for its precise balance between power and price. PCMag expert Mark Coppock summed it up by saying it was "a versatile PC that handles productivity, content creation, and mainstream gaming with ease."
A variety of loadouts are available, but this one lands right in the sweet spot for most people, with a very capable Intel Core Ultra 7 processor running the show. All of Windows 11's new Copilot features will run great on this machine, and it has plenty of RAM for multitasking. Dell does offer customization options, so explore those if your needs are different. We also liked how easy it was to pop the spacious case open for repairs and upgrades, with intuitive and simple component access.

Some of the peak points included great thermal management, with the tower running cool as a cucumber no matter how hard we pushed it, as well as robust port selection and easy access to components for upgrades.
You won't need to upgrade much of anything with this loadout, which dazzles thanks to an ultra-high-performance Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, the flagship of the "Arrow Lake" series, coupled with our overall pick for the best current-gen graphics card in the RTX 5080.
