4th of July 2026 Sale: Laptop and Desktop PC Deals
4th of July 2026 Sale: Laptop and Desktop PC Deals - PCMag/Amazon, Best Buy, Dell

If you're feeling the burn from too much fun on the Fourth of July , we've found the deals to cure your ills. All the major retailers dropped prices on top tech over the holiday weekend, and I hunted down a ton of impressive discounts on new laptops and desktops that are still here. While not all of them had the fortitude to last past Sunday, a few are still out there waiting for you. No promises that these PCs will still be on sale tomorrow, so get your shopping in while you can.

Best July 4th Laptop Deals

Dell 15 Laptop

Let's lead off with an ultra-reliable daily driver from Dell, one of the most trusted names in the laptop market. The Dell 15 is the company's main midrange model, targeted at professionals and students. With a simple and elegant design and hours of performance, it's one of the best laptops in this price bracket. Cut that price down by $170, and it deserves top billing.

Dell offers a number of loadouts for this laptop, but this one has the most impressive discount. The 13th-generation Intel Core i5 processor is a top pick for general-purpose mobile computing, designed from the ground up with power efficiency in mind. A generous 16GB of RAM lets you keep tons of tabs open, and the 512GB internal SSD is decent, especially at today's prices.

We've also been impressed by Dell's commitment to sustainability, with extensive use of recycled materials in the laptop's bottom cover, palmrest, and packaging. Inside and out, this is a quality portable at an unbeatable discount.

Apple MacBook Pro M4

There's simply no better laptop for high-end content creation than the MacBook Pro. Apple has built this powerhouse from the ground up for video editing, music creation, 3D graphics, and more. Although a newer model of the Pro recently dropped, we still believe that the 2024 M4 gives you a ton of bang for your buck, giving it an Editors' Choice award in our review .

With a gorgeous 16.2-inch 3456x2234 Liquid Retina display, colors pop, contrast is sharp, and it's bright enough to use in any situation. This model also saw an upgrade to USB connectivity, with three Thunderbolt 5 ports joining an HDMI-out, an SD card slot, and a standardized audio jack. Inside the shell, you'll find a potent M4 Pro CPU paired with a whopping 48GB of RAM, enabling seamless multitasking and rendering of huge files.

One of the most impressive aspects of the MacBook Pro is that, despite leveraging all this horsepower, the gas tank is huge. In our standardized battery benchmarking test, we were able to get a full 24 hours of operation on a single charge. That's a dominating performance, and makes a $300 discount worth saluting.

Asus TUF 15 Gaming Laptop

Gaming laptops also saw some 4th of July price drops, and if you're looking for an entry-level portable PC to play the best of your Steam library on, this Asus rig is a good pick. While it isn't an industry-leading powerhouse, inside the sturdy and durable chassis is everything you need, including a hard-working Intel Core i5 CPU and the entry-level card in Nvidia's new Blackwell series of GPUs.

At this price, it's definitely in the running for our list of the best cheap gaming laptops , especially when you factor in the surprisingly attractive 16-inch 165Hz display with 100% sRGB color coverage, great cooling thanks to a full-width heatsink, matching vent, and dual Arc Flow fans, and MIL-STD-810H durability rating. It's a battlestation that's built to last, and at 19% off a huge bargain.

HP Omen Max 16 Gaming Laptop

For something a little more juicy, HP has a big price drop on its exceptional Omen gaming laptop, which ships with some of the most elite mobile silicon you can get, starting with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 processor that will absolutely dominate any title coming this year, from GTA 6 down the line. For graphics, the RTX 5080 is what we consider the best value of Nvidia's new Blackwell series, churning out massive framerates at WQXGA definition. We have a full review of this laptop, where it excelled in our benchmarking.

This is a beefy beast inside and out, weighing in at nearly six pounds, but it earns it. The keyboard feels great, the port selection is extensive, and the single-piece aluminum lid looks premium. As you'd expect from a laptop that goes this hard, battery life isn't super long, but it carries more than enough charge to get you through a commute before you need to find a plug. Save 34% right now.

Best 4th of July Desktop Deals

HP OmniStudio X Desktop

With a retro look that brings back the Stranger Things era of wood-paneled everything, HP's OmniStudio X is a reliable home computer that'll please just about every user. We previewed this model when it debuted at CES, noting that alongside the arboreal front panel, you get a generous allocation of front-facing ports for easy connectivity, and inside, you get Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.

This machine has a relatively small footprint, so it's a great desktop for dorm rooms, family areas, and home offices. You could also use it as a media streaming box for a home entertainment system. It's not an attention-seeking gaming machine, but rather an elegant choice that blends in with your decor while working hard to meet your needs.

Best Buy has a few configurations of this machine on sale after the Fourth of July, but this is our recommended one, with a zippy and power-efficient Core Ultra 5 processor and just enough memory and storage for everyday use without driving the price up. A bundled keyboard and mouse just sweeten the deal.

Acer Aspire C24 All-In-One Desktop

If you need a budget PC option that doesn't require lots of setup, an all-in-one fits the bill. This is the lowest price we've seen in quite some time on the Acer Aspire C24, a no-frills unit with a solid screen and good performance that works well just about wherever you put it. Install it in the kitchen to watch along with YouTube cooking tutorials, or in the bedroom for Netflix without a full TV. It's killer for students as well.

In our review , we were impressed by the design of the Aspire, with its monitor base making it easy to position, and noted it fared surprisingly well on our benchmarking tests. We did criticize the decision to include only one front-facing USB port (the rest are on the back), but you shouldn't have to do a lot of cable management anyway.

The loadout on sale here differs from our review model in a few ways, notably swapping an AMD Ryzen 5 processor in for the poky 12th-generation Intel Core i3 and doubling the RAM. While it's not a high-octane creative juggernaut, it's a more than serviceable family PC at a great price.

Geekom A6 Mini Desktop

Mini PCs have been a growing part of the desktop business for a while now, cramming all the necessary components into a box barely the size of a stack of CDs. Chinese company Geekom makes a wide variety of pint-sized PCs, and we rated the A6 Mini very highly in our review , with PCMag expert Jorge Jimenez calling it a "surprisingly mighty mite" thanks to its excellent benchmarking performance, great heat management, and panoply of ports.

Even though the shell is so tiny, Geekom makes it possible to upgrade components if you want more than 16GB of RAM, and you can go up to 64GB for high-resource creative work. Wireless connectivity is also solid, featuring Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Integrated Radeon graphics are workable for 1080p gaming, and the machine supports video output as high as quad 4K. It might look small, but it's a mighty machine that'll tackle the toughest tasks.
