The 57-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo is simply the most humongous ultrawide gaming monitor we've encountered. The Neo G9 has an impressively high resolution (7,680 by 2,160 pixels)—which comes out to 8K horizontal pixels and 4K vertical pixels at a 32:9 aspect ratio (often called super ultrawide)—and a 240Hz refresh rate, made possible thanks to its DisplayPort 2.1 support, which packs double the bandwidth of DisplayPort 1.4. The sharply curved (1000R) VA panel makes for an immersive experience for gamers—ultrawides are especially well-suited for racing games and simulations.

The downsides? The Neo G9 requires some very high-end and very specific PC horsepower, and a space that can hold its broad and bulky frame. As you'd expect, to get the Neo G9 you have to lay out some serious cash, but Amazon has numbed the pain by shaving $800 off the $2,299.99 list price. For what you get, it's a great value.
