Diablo 4
BlizzardDiablo 4: Lord of Hatred expansion is being received quite well , a great new entry in the series that adds not just one, but two new classes, the Warlock and Paladin, but also a huge host of new build options due to revamped skill trees, new gear and new modification possibilities through the Talismans and the Horadric Cube.
It’s been at least a little while since Lord of Hatred launched, and Diablo players are already coming together to figure out what the best current builds are. Maxroll.gg, arguably the best Diablo 4 build planning/listing site there is, has come out with a number of tier lists for various aspects of the game, be it mobbing, bossing, Pit pushing and more. I think the best one to reference is probably the “overall endgame” list with a number of builds across all classes. You can find the full thing with links here , including if you want to see dozens of Z-tier builds I’m not going to list, but here are the highlights:

As I said, I’m not going to list the roughly three dozen Z-tier builds, but there are some takeaways from the main list. Sorcerer has two S-Tier builds and zero anywhere else in this list, which is interesting. Warlock has far more high-ranked builds than Paladin, which is sort of a bummer for that class (but I’m sure plenty of players are still loving it). Rogue is the most-featured class of anything, even though it doesn’t have an S-Tier build. The “worst” class is Druid with just a single build on the list. Spiritborn only has two, a wide split between one S-Tier and one F-Tier. Necromancer and Barbarian have a decent amount and they are pretty evenly distributed across the tiers.
Diablo 4
BlizzardHave you done any of these yet? Again, these are endgame, not leveling, as story builds don’t matter all that much. Though as said, there are multiple builds that are better for certain objectives in the late game.
Even before seeing this list, I have been using Apocalypse Warlock, which uses fast-stacking charges to blow up the entire screen with one giant AOE explosion that kills mobs, elites and sometimes bosses alike, depending on how much you’ve beefed it up. I’m Tier 9 heading to Tier 10 with it now, and it’s almost fully assembled. Having a lot of fun. Paladin next.
