Last Epoch’s “Orobyss” Expansion Brings PS5 Launch & Void Rising Stakes

During the September 2025 State of Play, Eleventh Hour Games and Sony confirmed a long-anticipated arrival for Last Epoch on PlayStation 5—tied to the game's first major expansion, Last Epoch: Orobyss. The reveal promises a full console debut alongside a heavy narrative and mechanical push into the game's darkest mythos.

In Orobyss, players will face off against the titular entity: a manifestation of despair, madness, and oblivion deeply tied to the Void's influence over Eterra. As time fractures around you, your mission becomes not only stopping the Void, but confronting its deepest embodiment.

Key features teased include expanded progression options across Last Epoch's five base classes and 15 subclass masteries, more than 120 unique skills, and an enriched crafting system where deterministic upgrades help you tailor each item to your build. The expansion also leans heavily on time travel mechanics: players can traverse eras to repair history, revisit altered zones, or explore doomed timelines via the End of Time hub and Monoliths.

On PS5, Last Epoch: Orobyss promises full co-op support (up to 4 players) across all content—including Monolith endgame and prior seasonal additions. For those already engaged on PC, this expansion seems poised to bring long-time fans and new console players into the same evolving sandbox.

As the Void looms, Orobyss aims to push Last Epoch into its most ambitious phase yet—boldly blending lore, build depth, and time-tangled threat in a package that could redefine how Eterra's struggle against oblivion is told.
