PlayStation announces two State of Play livestreams for September

Aug. 31 (UPI) -- PlayStation has announced a pair of new State of Play livestreams that will be aired back-to-back on Thursday.

PlayStation will first present a traditional State of Play that will feature new video game announcements and updates from PlayStation Studios and third-party developers.

The first State of Play will conclude with an extended look at the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy VII: Revelation from publisher Square Enix.

The second livestream, titled State of Play Japan, will then air immediately afterwards with updates on upcoming games from studios across Japan and Asia.

State of Play Japan will be hosted by actor Yuki Kaji.

Fans can tune in Thursday starting at 9 a.m. EDT on PlayStation's official YouTube and Twitch channels.

The first State of Play will air in English with Japanese subtitles while State of Play Japan will air in Japanese with English subtitles.
