Pokemon Winds and Waves: All Gen 10 Starter Pokemon

The Pokemon Company / GAME FREAK

The three Gen 10 Starter Pokemon in Pokemon Winds and Waves are Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua.

Browt, the grass-type starter Pokemon, is described as a lively but clumsy Bean Chick Pokemon. It has fluffy yellow feathers on its upper body and two leaves growing out of its green beak. Next, the fire-type starter Pokemon, Pombon, is a guileless and friendly puppy Pokemon whose appearance seems based on real-life Pomeranians. Finally, Gecqua, the water-type starter Pokemon is an intelligent Water Gecko Pokemon.

First Thoughts on the Gen 10 Starter Pokemon

Among the three, Pombon has the strongest visual appeal and caught my attention first. The fire-type puppy Pokemon's cute mane and fluffy appearance immediately captured my heart. Next, I also liked Browt, the Bean Chick Pokemon. Its goofy appearance is endearing to me, which made it the second most appealing starter after Pombon. Finally, I thought Gecqua, the Water Gecko Pokemon, was cute too. However, the other two starters had stronger visual appeal.

Overall, all three starters in Pokemon Winds and Waves have adorable designs. I'm looking forward to seeing their evolutions to decide which one I'd go for.
