SoulQuest Is Out Now On Nintendo Switch, Scoring Every Fight

Out now on Nintendo Switch , the side-scrolling spectacle fighter from SoulBlade Studio, published by indie.io, scores every encounter on a scale from a shameful F to a coveted SSS, turning a room full of enemies into something closer to a performance than an obstacle.
This marks the game's first appearance on console, following a Steam launch in May that has held a Very Positive player rating ever since.
Reaching SSS Means Killing Gods In Increasingly Unique Ways
Light and heavy attacks chain into dozens of freeform combinations, with each animation flowing into the next without a break, while magic and screen-clearing ultimates open routes that pure swordplay can't reach on its own.
The inputs are simple enough to learn in a minute, but stringing them into something the grading system actually rewards takes considerably longer, and the hardest difficulties exist specifically for players who want the gods to pose a genuine threat.

A Road Through Celtic and Arthurian Myth
The road to Morrigan runs the length of the British Isles, and every god along the way has to be dealt with individually, each one drawn from Celtic folklore and Arthurian legend. The whole journey is rendered in pixel art and scored with a medieval-inspired soundtrack, giving the game's mythology a consistent visual and musical identity from start to finish.
