What Is VOID/BREAKER ?
You fight machines controlled by an AI that has trapped you in an endless loop of combat and death. The Steam page describes fast gunplay and movement, a deep gun-modding system for building varied weapons and synergies, and environmental destruction you can use as a core mechanic.
Runs are built on choices about which fights and paths to take, with rising threats as you go. It is the work of Stubby Games, the solo studio of Daniel Stubbington, who previously made the puzzle game The Entropy Centre , and Playstack publishes it.
Platforms And Game Pass
The 1.0 release launches on Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Game Pass on console, PC and Cloud from day one. The Xbox store listing says it is included in PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate.
VOID/BREAKER costs $29.99. The Steam page says the price was expected to rise as content was added during Early Access, so the current price may not last.
What About Early Access Owners?
The game launched in Steam Early Access in August 2025, and the Steam page lists a free demo whose progress carries over to the full game. Buying the game on Steam before 1.0, or during Early Access, gets you the Supporter's Pack at no cost at launch. It includes the official soundtrack by Joe Ford and is exclusive to Steam at launch.
