Today, you can start playing Egging On , which has a pretty interesting story. In this game, you'll be controlling an egg. You must master the egg's physics as you navigate through the environment, trying your best not to fall and crack.
Vapor World Over the Mind, ALIVE Inc., Xbox
Tomorrow, August 19th, we'll get Vapor World: Over the Mind , an action-adventure RPG. "Lost in darkness, a boy drawn into a twisted dream, no way out." The game is described as a "narrative-driven souls-like platformer focused on deflection combat, set in a vast atmospheric dreamscape painted entirely by hand." Truly, a game you don't want to miss out on.
Along with that, we'll also get BlazBlue Entropy Effect X and Relooted . The first is another action-adventure set in the BlazBlue universe where you command a "line-up of unique characters from the renowned BlazBlue franchise and dive into an unparalleled action experience." While Relooted is a classic heist story where you liberate African artifacts from Western museums.
Starsand Island (2026), Seed Sparkle Lab, Xbox
For my cozy farmers out there, you're in for a treat. August 20th, we'll see Starsand Island , where you escape your urban life and go to Starsand Island. Here, you'll explore the island and the mystical forest, fish, farm, and meet the residents.
August 25th is a big day, with Aerial_Knight's DropShot and Blood Dungeon . The first is a "fast, stylish action shooter that throws you straight out of a plane and into the chaos. Take out enemies, dodge wild traps, and make it to the ground first." The former sees players parkouring their "way around treacherous dungeons to kite monsters while gathering blood and powerups."
But the big one everyone has been talking about is Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy , which is coming to Xbox Game Pass August 27th. The action-adventure RPG is "set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem ," where players will control "Sophia, a fierce young plunderer, on the run and determined to uncover the secrets of her past. Dive into an original story blending combat, myth, and fate with a brand new take in the universe of A Plague Tale."
Last but not least is on August 31st, with the release of Young Suns . The game is described as a "1-4 player narrative life sim set on Jupiter in an optimistic alternative future, intended for one-to-two hours of daily play, alone or with friends." Players will build their homes "among the stars, and take it with you on adventures."
