It's hard to imagine a world without beauty tech . What was once widely considered a marketing gimmick with empty promises has since become a mainstay at-home treatment in many a beauty lover's daily skincare routine. In 2025 alone we saw a surge in new LED masks, lasers, and even some manual tools designed to target various skin concerns, from fine lines and wrinkles to dark spots and dullness.
Over the past year, our editors were lucky enough to get their hands on and test several of these innovative launches—and suffice it to say, we were impressed. From a multitasking red light mask that treats problem skin while soothing under eyes to a microcurrent tool that aids in lymphatic drainage to modern gua shas that sculpt and relieve tension, these were the 10 best beauty tech and tool launches of 2025 that delivered.
CryoGlow LED Face Mask
The best LED face mask of the year came from Shark
. The device is powered by three kinds of lights (red, blue, and deep-infrared) and comes pre-set with three quick and easy modes: a Better Aging Treatment that uses red and infrared lights to target fine lines and sagging skin, a Skin Clearing Treatment that uses all three lights to reduce redness and other flare-ups, and a maintenance mode that enhances skin's glow. The real selling point, however, are the built-in cooling pads that simultaneously soothe the under eyes and treat puffiness. We also like that the mask is super intuitive, thanks to the accompanying remote which displays the treatments and how many times they've been completed.
Best for:Fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes, redness, puffy eyes
LED Bulbs:480
Wavelengths:Red (630nm), blue (415nm), deep near-infrared (830nm)
Treatments:Three treatment modes between four and eight minutes; five- to 15-minute cooling treatments
Recommended Usage:Once daily for first eight weeks
Body Sculptor Ritual Set
We've never met a HigherDose product that we haven't loved. This year, the wellness brand launched a variety of innovative devices, including the Body Sculptor
. Powered by low-grade electrical current and red and near infrared light, the tool packs a therapeutic punch by stimulating muscles, boosting lymphatic drainage, sculpting and toning skin, and releasing fascial adhesions. The device is sold with a Sculpting Activating Gel that doubles as a non-sticky conducive base and performance booster that helps support collagen production, enhance elasticity, and nourish skin. It also comes with a Transdermal Magnesium Spray that supports muscle relaxation, reduces tension, and enhances recovery. Our digital lifestyle director says the Body Sculptor is "a beauty booster that belongs in every self-care tool kit for someone in search of a bit more oomph."
Best for:Post-workout recovery, pain relief, lymphatic drainage, fascia release

Glow
New York-based dermatologist Dr. Anetta Reszko entered the beauty tech space in 2025 with the introduction of the Skorr Glow
. The comprehensive, 6-in-1 device combines technologies like LED light therapy, microcurrent, radiofrequency, sonic vibration, and microporation to treat the entire face (including the lips and under-eye area), targeting wrinkles, firmness, radiance, and lymphatic drainage for professional-level results. It comes with four pre-set treatments modes designed for different concerns, but users can also personalize a bespoke option based on their own skin goals. Our digital lifestyle director loves it because "you are able to treat and target your skin concerns and goals in a way that feels bespoke, but grounded in efficacious layering of tech and ingredients (if you add in the skincare)."
Best for:Aging, dullness, uneven tone, and loss of elasticity
Technology:Radiofrequency, LED light therapy (blue, green, red and yellow), microcurrent, microelectroporation, sonic vibration

Laser Pro
The LYMA laser has been a skincare secret weapon since its launch in 2020—and for good reason. The beauty gadget uses cold, near-infrared, low-level laser technology to penetrate deep into skin and target various skin condition across the body, ranging from crepiness and sagging to redness and dark spots. Earlier this year, the laser got a major upgrade
, using the same technology but with a much larger lens and stronger power output to help treat larger sections of skin faster and more efficiently. Its cost may be intimidating, but when you factor in the latest updates, it's a splurge you can justify. To quote myself, "When you do the math, in-office treatments can rack up a high credit card bill, and really, after a month or so, you likely won't even need in-office treatments as much because of how effective the Lyma is."
Best for:Wrinkles, fine lines, nasolabial fold, forehead wrinkles, crow's feet, hyperpigmentation
Technology:1450mW near-infrared continuous cold laser beam at 808nm
Recommended Usage:3 per area minutes daily

When it comes to LED technology, CurrentBody sets the standard. Our editors have long sworn by the brand's devices
for their glow- and hair-boosting benefits, and its latest launch doesn't disappoint either. Using the same technology, the LED panel delivers targeted full face and body treatments with four pre-programmed modes with a combination of four clinically proven wavelengths (blue, red, near-infrared, and deep near-infrared). The design is flexible, which allows for maximum coverage, and it can be used flat, on its stand, or with straps to treat the chest, back, legs hands, or any other area of concern.
Best for:Advanced anti-aging, skin clearing, and targeted recovery across large areas of the body
LED Bulbs:544
Wavelengths: Blue (415nm), red (633nm), near-infrared (830nm) and deep near-infrared (1072nm)
Treatments:Four treatments between 10 to 20 minutes
Recommended Usage:Three to five times per week
Dot
As it turns out, microcurrent technology is not only effective for stimulating collagen production and tightening skin; it can also help with breakouts. This mini donut-shaped device uses both microcurrent and nanocurrent technology to clear and calm breakouts in as little as 90 seconds. Microcurrent reduces acne-causing inflammation, swelling and bacteria, while nanocurrent mimics the body's natural electrical currents, stimulating skin repair and calming irritation. The Dot also comes with a conducive gel specifically formulated to soothe redness, reduce spots, and rebalance skin's microbiome.
Best for:Breakouts, acne
Technology:Microcurrent & nanocurrent
Clear Gel Ingredients:Dendriclear, mint, cucumber, aloe vera

that comes with three separate settings designed to treat eyes, lips, and small facial lines in just three minutes.
