Spotify users could get an early holiday gift this week.

Spotify's "Wrapped" feature allows users to reflect on their favorite songs, artists, podcasts and albums of the year and see their streaming data from the last 12 months. You can also share your stats with friends, compare your top artists and albums of the year, and poke fun at the embarrassing songs that ended up on your charts.

Last year, Spotify revealed that 574 million people around the world listened on its platform. Additionally, they revealed that Taylor Swift was not only the top artist in the U.S. but for the entire globe.

Here's what to know about  Spotify's 2024 Wrapped ahead of its release and when the platform stops tracking the data that goes into your Wrapped.

Is the 2024 Spotify Wrapped out?

Spotify has yet to announce when 2024 Wrapped will drop. But based on previous years, it should come out some time this week, the first week of December.

According to USA TODAY , Spotify released last year's Wrapped on Nov. 29. In  2022 , Spotify Wrapped released on Nov. 30. In  2021  and  2020  it released on Dec. 1. In  2019  it released Dec. 5, and in  2018  it released Dec. 6.

It could even drop today, Monday, Dec. 2. Spotify made a post on X on Monday morning teasing the release of this year's Wrapped, with a graphic of a pre-wrapped checklist. The caption asked "Are you #SpotifyWrapped ready?"

Does Spotify stop counting after October?

Last month, Spotify assured users that the rumor that data for Spotify Wrapped doesn't extend past Oct. 31 is false.

The music streaming service shared a Halloween graphic on X, formerly known as Twitter, of a jack-o'-lantern filled with candy and a message that said "Spotify Wrapped doesn't stop counting on October 31st."

How long has Spotify Wrapped been around?

Spotify Wrapped  came out in 2015  with its "Year in Music" feature, allowing users to see which artists they listened to most over the previous 365 days.

Over the years, the platform has added more graphic design and data personalization to the feature, later changing the name to "Spotify Wrapped."

How do I see my Spotify Wrapped 2024?

According to last year's instructions, users must update their Spotify to the latest version.

The "Spotify Wrapped" package should appear on the front page of the platform's iOS and Android apps. Users can expect to see an invitation to view their Wrapped report upon opening the app.

Is there an Apple Music version of Spotify Wrapped?

For Apple Music listeners who might feel left out, you will have your end-of-the-year present to open as well.

Apple Music Replay  compiles Apple Music users' listening data for the year, including top songs, artists, albums and total minutes listened to. The platform released this feature in 2022 to compete against Spotify Wrapped.

Does YouTube Music have a yearly wrap-up?

Last year, YouTube Music listeners also got their first taste of an end-of-year music recap. Mimicking Spotify's approach, YouTube Music listeners get to see their most-listened-to songs, artists, and albums, and the platform matches them to moods and themes.

To access your YouTube Music Recap, just log into your account on the app or in a browser. You can also access your recap from the regular YouTube app.

Does SoundCloud have a yearly replay?

SoundCloud has a version of Spotify Wrapped called  SoundCloud Playback . It isn't as social media-friendly as the other streaming platform recaps, but it does sum up each user's listening habits on a year-by-year basis. 

Playback is just a playlist of your most-listened-to songs from the last year.

SoundCloud users don't have access to their Playback playlists for 2024 yet but should receive an email when it is ready for them to listen to. SoundCloud's Playback playlists are anticipated to drop soon, though, since they are based on music each listener has played between January 1 and November 30 of each year.

Does Pandora have a version of Spotify Wrapped?

According to Pandora Community posts, the music-streaming platform's Playback user year-in-review is  no longer available . It is unclear when officials discontinued the feature or how long it was available.
