Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is coming to an end and players are going to have some downtime Friday.
The highly anticipated Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 "Hunters" launched on Dec. 1 after the month-long Chapter 2 Remix kept players busy in November. Now it's time for Chapter 6 Season 2 "Lawless" of Epic Games' wildly popular series.
Chapter 6, season 2 sees players dropped into a crime-themed map that brings "Grand Theft Auto" vibes and reminds some of us of the video game-based movie "Free Guy," based on the different promotional materials and analysis out ahead of the latest season. Players are encouraged to, "Run amok in Crime City - gold vaults, Rocket Drills, and so much mayhem."

When does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Hunters end?
Gamers only have a few hours left to finish up any gameplay before Season 1 comes to a close on Friday, Feb. 21, at 1 a.m. CT/2 a.m. ET. The servers will go down for several hours at the end of Season 1.
How long will Fortnite servers be down?
In the past, server downtime usually occurs at the end of a chapter/season.
At the end of Chapter 6 Season 1 at 1 a.m. CT/2 a.m. ET, Fortnite servers will go down so programmers can upload Chapter 6 Season 2 Hunters.
Fortnite has not posted anything about how long gamers can expect servers to be down as of Thursday morning, but servers are typically down for several hours while the latest installment is uploaded. Once it's done gamers can log back in, download the update and drop into the latest map.
When does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 start?
Players will have to wait until Friday morning to log back on for the latest installment of Fortnite.
What is gameplay expected to be like for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2?
This time around players will be living the criminal high life with chances to loot some new banks and even take a crack at an armored train. One of the newest features seen in the trailer is the capacity for dual weapons in this iteration.
There will also be plenty of new and old faces included in the gameplay,
There is an oldie coming back into play as well. Midas, from Chapter 2 Season 2, will be making a comeback in the new Lawless Battle Pass. Among new faces, players will also see a new skin in the form of Sub-Zero from Mortal Combat.
Oh, and there are also anthropomorphic pickle and hot dog characters.
