The Omenka App was created to help the preservation of Igbo language and culture. The platform offers a place where individuals can explore the Igbo culture, music, language and more. As technology moves forward, especially AI, the app can leverage that technology into helping preserve language and culture. Indigenous Hands and Voices and Omenka App are both headquartered in Albuquerque and are active in and around the community. For more information on the organization and ways to support, click here.
