Wilde Bicycle Co. Adds Two Lugged Gravel Beauties w/ Classical or Modern Style

Sugar Foot

Calling it a classically styled 650b gravel racer, the Sugar Foot features a Richard Sachs-designed lugset, a Pacenti fork crown, Columbus steel tubing, and Paragon Machine Works frame parts with Imron paint by D&D Cycles.

Built around rim brakes and 650b wheels and tires, Wilde claims the bike may look classic, but is really an undercover go-fast machine. Wilde only plans to do a run of 10 of these bikes over the winter, with paint similar to the show bike pictured here. Available sizes have effective top tube lengths of 54, 56, 58, or 60cm. Orders on the Wilde site reserve your spot, with expected delivery in March/April 2025. Sold as a frameset, pricing is set at $3,900.

Lugged Earth Ship

For something a little more modern but still featuring traditional joinery, the new Lugged Earth Ship will get you up to speed. A fully modern gravel bike, the USA-made Lugged Earth Ship uses a Chris Bishop-designed lugset with Columbus Life main triangle with Columbus Zona chainstays. The lightweight frame and carbon fork have a 240lb rider weight limit as a result.

Built with clearance for 700c x 45mm tires, the frame uses Paragon's modular guides which can be customized for AXS, 1x or a 2x setup. Framesets will be offered for $3,400, while complete builds are offered on a personalized basis.
