You Won’t Have to Take These Smart Lights Down for Years
GE Lighting just released its Cync Dynamic Effects Outdoor Smart Light Strips and new Cync Dynamic Effects Outdoor Smart Eave Lights. These are designed to give you DIY-friendly options to light up the outside of your home year-round.
The big news here is that you can now get 100-foot Cync Dynamic Effects Outdoor Smart Eave Lights for permanent accent lighting around places like your roof and porch. This lets you easily light up your home in festive holiday colors, team colors, or just a nice adjustable white tone for everyday use, all with one set of lights. They are designed to be cuttable and extendable, too.
The kit comes with four 24.6 ft. light strips, an 8.2 ft. extension cable, a controller, and a power supply with a plug. With just one power supply, you can extend the length of the lights up to 150 ft. Since they're wet-rated and waterproof, they're built to stay outside and decorate your space without the hassle of re-installing them for every special event throughout the year. You also get a controller, which you can use to change scenes and adjust the brightness manually.
Alongside the new eave lights, Cync is also updating its Dynamic Effects Outdoor Smart Light Strips, giving you even more ways to decorate your home. These light strips have more flexible tubing, which makes it easier to outline pathways and decks, or to bend the lights into unique shapes for lawn and wall art.
The light strips come in 16 ft. and 32 ft. lengths. The 16 ft. set includes 15 mounting clips and straight stakes, four angled stakes, and two shape grid templates, which will help you design your lawn or wall art. The 32 ft. set doubles the hardware, giving you 30 mounting clips and straight stakes, eight angled stakes, and two shape grid templates. They can even be trimmed to the length you want at the indicated cut points.
Just make sure the strip light is unplugged before you cut it, as cutting anywhere else will permanently damage the light. Once you cut it, you'll need to add glue and insert the end cap on the cut end of the light strip. One cool thing is that both the Eave Lights and the updated Light Strips are part of the Cync smart ecosystem, meaning they connect directly to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network without needing a separate hub.
Using the Cync app, you get a ton of control, like setting custom schedules, controlling individual color segments, adjusting brightness, and creating personalized light shows. Since both light types feature dynamic effects, each light segment can be controlled individually, and they both include light effects that can sync to music. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for hands-free voice control, which is super convenient.
If you're ready to check them out, the Cync Dynamic Effects Outdoor Smart Eave Lights are available now for $142.99 for the 100 ft. length on the official website or Amazon . The Cync Dynamic Effects Outdoor Smart Light Strips are also available now for $79.99 for the 16 ft. strip and $129.99 for the 32 ft. strip on the official website or Amazon .
