ARCAM's Radia Series Just Made a Big Move

ARCAM is officially pushing its Radia Series beyond two-channel listening and into full-on home theater territory. The company has announced the first Radia-branded AV components. The new lineup includes three Audio Video Amplifiers, a 16-channel AV processor, and two matching power amplifiers. At the center of it all is a feature that continues to gain momentum: Dirac Live Active Room Treatment.

This move comes as ARCAM marks its 50th anniversary, a milestone that highlights just how long the brand has been part of the AV industry. The new lineup consists of the AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35 Audio Video Amplifiers, the AVP45 16-channel AV processor, and the PA4 and PA9 power amplifiers. Visually, everything follows the Radia design with black chassis, yellow accents, and large 6.5-inch full-color front-panel displays. From a connectivity standpoint, the series is fully up to date, with HDMI including eARC, Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast, and high-resolution streaming support via Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect.
Across the board, all models support high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz and are Roon Ready. Audio formats include Dolby Atmos and DTS:X available throughout the lineup. The AVA25, AVA35, and AVP45 go a step further by adding Auro-3D support. The AVP45 stands out as the most capable of the group, offering 16 channels of decoding, balanced outputs, and IMAX Enhanced certification.

The AVA15, AVA25, AVA35, and AVP45 all support Dirac Live Room Correction, Dirac Live Bass Control, and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment. Just keep in mind that Bass Control and ART require additional licenses.
The PA4 is a compact four-channel Class D amplifier designed for surround, height, or zone expansion duties. The PA9 steps things up with nine channels of ARCAM's Class G amplification. The PA9 is clearly intended to pair with the AVP45, offering a scalable path toward larger Dolby Atmos and Auro-3D configurations without forcing everything into a single chassis.

The Radia AVA amplifiers and AVP45 processor are expected to arrive through authorized dealers in Q3 2026, with the PA series power amplifiers following in Q4.
