LG's 65-inch B6 OLED Drops to $1,399.99 at Best Buy

LG's 65-inch B6 OLED has fallen to $1,399.99 at Best Buy, down from its usual $1,999.99, as part of the retailer's Deal of the Day promotions. That price lands $300 below Amazon's current listing and marks the deepest discount the set has seen to date. The offer runs only through Thursday, August 20th, however, so buyers weighing the purchase have a narrow window to act.
The B6 sits at the bottom of LG's OLED lineup. Even so, LG's entry-level OLED outperforms most non-OLED televisions on the market. It runs less bright than the step-up C6, though it delivers more than enough brightness for typical viewing conditions. The panel produces contrast-rich 4K picture quality and pairs it with a capable processor that keeps streaming apps running smoothly. For a set positioned as the affordable option in LG's OLED tiers, the B6 nonetheless does not cut many of the features that matter to enthusiasts.
Gamers get particular attention. The television supports a 120Hz refresh rate with variable refresh rate technology, covering both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync Premium. All four of its HDMI ports are version 2.1, meaning each one carries the full refresh rate along with VRR and auto low latency mode. One of those ports includes eARC for connecting to a soundbar, rounding out a feature set that competes well against pricier panels.
The B6 discount headlines a broader batch of LG price cuts at Best Buy today, spanning laptops and additional home theater gear alongside the OLED. For anyone shopping the midrange, the B-series remains the value entry point into LG's OLED range, undercutting the flagship models while retaining the core strengths that define the category. Deals of this depth do not always stick around long. This one expires when the day closes.
Elsewhere, DoorDash has moved into selling digital video games, an unusual pivot for a delivery service. Through August 31st, buyers who purchase at least $50 in digital games through the "Gaming" section of its site or mobile app receive a $25 DoorDash gift card, provided they subscribe to the premium DashPass membership. Regular members who are not on DashPass qualify for a $10 gift card instead. The incentive rewards anyone already planning to buy games, though plenty of other storefronts sell the same downloads.
Physical media fans can look to Amazon, which has the extended edition Lord of the Rings trilogy available as a 4K digital bundle for $14.99. The discs themselves are not discounted today. Still, the digital set represents a strong value, and the films work with Movies Anywhere, so viewing is not confined to the Prime Video app.
Finally, the 2K Megahits 2026 Bundle at Humble Bundle is entering its final stretch. The $15 Steam collection includes BioShock Infinite, The Quarry, Borderlands 3, and more, with the sale ending Friday, August 21st. Proceeds go to Covenant House, an organization that provides food, shelter, and crisis care for unhoused and trafficked youth. The bundle suits players who favor replay-heavy first-person shooters and multiplayer roguelites, and the charitable component adds reason to move before the deadline.
