The Pixel 11 starts at $799 for the base model with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. That's $100 higher than the base $699 Pixel 10 . You can increase your storage to 512GB for $899.

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL start at $1,099 and $1,299, respectively. Both are $100 more than last year's offerings. Both start with the same 256GB base storage, but upgrading to 512GB ($120 more) or 1TB ($250 more) gets you 16GB of RAM.

Design: Same Premium Feel, Different Pocket Footprints

Google uses a satin-finish aluminum frame on all three Pixel 11 models, though the tactile feel of the backside changes drastically depending on which model you get. The Pixel 11 is the pocketable one. It uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to protect its back and leans into a playful aesthetic with colors like Pistachio (military fatigue), Hibiscus, Frost, or Obsidian.

The Pixel 11 Pro is the same size as the Pixel 11, but with more polish around the edges. It trades the glossy backside for a matte finish. The palettes are also a bit more subdued, with colors including Obsidian, Fog, Canyon (a muted coral), or Olive (pea green).

The Pro XL measures 6.40 by 3.0 by 0.30 inches (HWD). The Pixel 11 Pro and the standard Pixel 11 are the same size at 6.0 by 2.80 by 0.30 inches.

Display: Blindingly Bright Panels Across the Board

All three devices feature Google's Actua display panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro both sport 6.3-inch displays, with a 2,424-by-1,080-pixel resolution. The Pixel 11 Pro XL features a 6.8-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2,992 by 1,344 pixels. Both the Pro and Pro XL models peak at 3,600 nits, while the regular Pixel 11 stops at 3,000 nits. These are some of the brightest screens available on mainstream flagship phones.

Performance and Connectivity: Faster 5G Tower Switching, So-So CPU Power

Every phone in the Pixel 11 family runs on Google's new Tensor G6 chipset, backed by the Titan M3 security coprocessor. RAM configuration depends on which storage tier you choose. The base model Pixel 11 comes with 12GB of RAM as standard, while the Pixel 11 Pro/Pro XL are available with 16GB of RAM, but only if you spend more for 512GB or 1TB of storage.

None of the devices set our benchmark tests on fire. For example, the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and Pro XL scored 2,743/7,498, 2,700/7,400, and 2,755/7,563 on Geekbench 6, respectively, while competing devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra scored 3,724/11,360 on the same test.

All Pixel 11 models feature an upgraded MediaTek modem with improved support for switching between 5G towers. They all support Bluetooth 6. US models don't have physical SIM slots, while overseas models use nanoSIM.

The Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL both support Wi-Fi 7 and Ultra-Wideband (UWB). The regular Pixel 11 uses Wi-Fi 6E and doesn't support UWB. Since they have an option to upgrade to 16GB and have better radios, the Pro models take this one.

Battery Life: A Surprising Winner

The bigger the Pixel 11 you get, the more battery power there is to fuel you throughout the day. Kind of. Weirdly, the Pixel 11 Pro and base-model Pixel 11 have different battery sizes. The Pixel 11 has a 4,985mAh battery, a modest improvement over last year's Pixel 10 , which had 4,970mAh. But the Pixel 11 Pro has a smaller 4,850mAh battery, even smaller than its predecessor's 4,870mAh battery. The Pixel 11 Pro XL has the largest battery at 5,115 mAh.

How long do they all last? The Pixel 11 lasted 19 hours and 13 minutes, the 11 Pro lasted 13 hours, and the Pro XL lasted 15 hours and 47 minutes.

Wired and wireless charging speeds vary by phone. The base-model Pixel 11 supports up to 30W wired charging with a compatible charger, and Google touts up to a 55% charge in half an hour—we definitely saw these results in testing. Wirelessly, the Pixel 11 manages up to 25W charging with its upgraded Qi2 offering.

The Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 11 Pro XL have disparate charging speeds. The 11 Pro supports up to 30W wired charging and 25W wireless charging, while the 11 Pro XL supports up to 45W wired charging with a compatible charger, with Google promising a 75% charge in half an hour. All devices come with built-in Pixelsnap magnets.

Cameras: On-Device Magic vs. Cloud-Bound Pro Features

The base Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro/Pro XL models offer two distinct camera experiences, though all three models received a sensor uptick from the previous generation, resulting in brighter Night Sight shots. The base-model Pixel 11 has a three-camera system with a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and up to 30x Super Zoom. The front-facing camera is a 10.5MP sensor.

The Pro and Pro XL models share identical camera specifications. The rear camera bar houses a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens that also supports macro focus, and a 48MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, up to 30x Super Res Zoom, and 120x Pro Zoom. The front-facing camera is a 42MP autofocus camera with a 103-degree field of view. The Pro models include Pro Stable Video support up to 8K with Video Boost, but that's a cloud-based feature , not a localized one.

Video capture is limited to 4K60 on-device, which leaves the Pixels behind Apple and Samsung's flagships, but overall, all three share most features and produce outstanding photos across the board.

Software: Gemini Drives the Experience, Front to Back

All three Pixel 11 models ship with Android 17 out of the box, with the same core system apps, AI models (including Gemini Nano), and text-to-speech tools. All three devices offer seven years of software update support. But the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL have the hardware for the customizable HiLight notification feature, located on the rear right next to the camera. It pops up when someone you like messages you or you summon Gemini, though it's not a must-have feature.

So, which Pixel 11 actually deserves your hard-earned cash? Consider the following:

• Buy the Pixel 11 if you want the absolute best value.At $799, you get the longest battery life of the trio and full access to Google's key AI features without paying a $300 "Pro" surcharge.

If you're upgrading from an older Pixel or switching from another phone, the standard Pixel 11 is the easy pick for most people. But if you already have a Pixel 10, holding onto it for another year is a smart move.
