What you should know:While these AirPods aren't matching their record-low Prime Day price of $169, we think they're a smart buy any time they dip below $200.

2) Apple AirPods 4
Why we like it:Apple's most budget-friendly earbudswere redesigned in late 2024 with a slightly slimmer profile. According to the brand, they have a more comfortable fit and last up to five hours on a single charge, all while still featuring the H2 chip found in Apple's Pro-level models (but at a much lower price).
What you should know:Although this isn't the lowest price we've ever seen for these entry-level earbuds (that would be Black Friday 2025's impressive $69 deal), we recommend adding them to your cart any time they dip below $100.
3) Apple AirPods Max 2
Why we like it:If you prefer over-ear headphones to earbuds, this is your chance to shave $70 off the AirPods Max 2. In addition to the top-notch sound, Lipski noticed a huge improvement with phone call quality, adding that the AirPods Max 2 did "a significantly better job at isolating my voice and reducing background noise."
What you should know:Apple's latest over-ear headphones, which were released in March 2026, sold out quickly while on sale for Prime Day. Note that we've seen them drop as low as $399 before, but if you've been waiting for a sale, this is likely the best deal we'll find until Black Friday.

4) Apple AirPods 4 with Noise Cancellation
Why we like it:If you don't want to spring for AirPods Pro (but are interested in earbuds with a slightly more immersive audio experience), opt for the noise-canceling version of the AirPods 4; they feature the same slim build as the standard version. Lipski said she wore these on a flight and "was impressed by how effectively the earbuds blocked out the drone of the plane."
What you should know:We've seen these drop as low as $99, so if you don't need them right now, it might be worth holding out for a steeper sale like Black Friday to scoop up a pair.
