Here’s how to add Fort Myers News-Press to your “preferred sources.”

Google’s ‘preferred sources’ feature explained

Launched on Aug. 12, the feature allows you to curate i.e., filter your news experience by source preference.

Any time you run a query, or a keyword through the search engine, with say Fort Myers News-Press as the preferred source, then you’ll only see the latest content about the topic from Fort Myers News-Press. (The same goes for any other news site.)

According to Google, you can add, or change your preferred sources any time.

“When you select your preferred sources, you’ll start to see more of their articles prominently displayed within Top Stories, when those sources have published fresh and relevant content for your search,” Google said.
