Verizon is giving away free $480 NFL Sunday Ticket subscriptions

Football season is almost here, and Verizon is giving fans a big reason to get excited before kickoff. The carrier is offering the NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube to new and existing customers. It's a perk worth up to $480, but it's only available on select wireless and home internet plans.

On top of the streaming deal, Verizon is expanding its recently launched Verizon Shine loyalty program with exclusive NFL experiences. This includes a chance to win a five-day trip to Paris for the first-ever NFL game in the French capital. The promotion starts today and runs through September 2.

How to Get NFL Sunday Ticket for Free

There are several ways to qualify for the offer. New customers can purchase an eligible 5G smartphone and activate a new line on Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plans. Existing customers can qualify by upgrading to one of those plans after purchasing an eligible 5G phone.

And for home internet customers, you'll need to switch to eligible Fios Home Internet, 5G Home Ultimate, Home Internet Lite Extra, or select Frontier Fiber plans to receive NFL Sunday Ticket at no additional cost.

Customers who already have the company's Home Internet or are on Simplicity wireless plans aren't left out. You can purchase a standalone NFL Sunday Ticket subscription for $234, or upgrade to the NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone bundle for $276, both below the standard retail price.

Verizon Shine Adds Exclusive NFL Experiences

This NFL offer is also tied to Shine, the company's new loyalty program that rewards customers with giveaways, special experiences, and daily perks. Starting this week, eligible customers can enter for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid five-day trip to Paris.

This means you'll be able to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New Orleans Saints in the NFL's first-ever regular-season game in Paris. According to the carrier, Shine members will also have access to additional weekly sweepstakes, free daily drops, and football-themed giveaways throughout the season.

More Perks Beyond Football

Members of the Shine loyalty program can receive waived activation and upgrade fees and earn 3% back in Verizon Dollars each month. You'll also gain access to exclusive events and rewards through the My Verizon app.
