If you've been holding off on buying a fitness tracker , Labor Day might be one of your last chances to score an Apple Watch Series 11 for under $300.

Earlier this summer, Apple CEO Tim Cook told The Wall Street Journal that rising costs will lead to price increases on certain products. Shoppers could start seeing those markups as early as September (when the company unveils their new lineup of products for the year).

Wondering if the latest model is worth the upgrade? The Series 11 stands out for its modern design, a more durable screen, improved battery life, and 5G connectivity for speedier performance and enhanced coverage.

Senior Reviews Writer and Analyst Olivia Lipski , has tested many generations of Apple Watches and said she's fond of the Series 11's sleek, thin design. Since it measures just 9.7mm in diameter, Lipski found it "never felt too bulky, in the way, or uncomfortable" on her wrist, even while sleeping.

Plus, Apple claims the screen is two times more scratch-resistant than that of the Series 10, in addition to offering up to 24 hours of battery life (compared to 18 hours from previous generations).

When trialing this new model, Lipski said the battery life improvements were particularly noticeable, adding that she loves how it only takes about 15 minutes of charge time to top off her watch's battery to get through the workday.

In addition to these updates, the Apple Watch Series 11 also comes complete with a handful of revamped health metrics, including a sleep score feature, hypertension notifications, and a new motivational Workout Buddy powered by Apple Intelligence.

Lipski especially likes the new "wrist flick" gesture, which allows users to dismiss notifications, silence calls, or return to the home screen.
