Virgin Voyages Fills a Major Culinary Gap with New 2026 Eatery

Virgin Voyagesis doubling down on its reputation as one of the best cruise line for foodies by introducing a major culinary first. This May, following her scheduled dry dock, Valiant Ladywill debut Ariya, a modern Indianrestaurant created in partnership with celebrity chef and Chopped star Maneet Chauhan .

While Indian flavors have long been a hidden gem on cruise ships (often relegated to the buffet), Ariya marks the first time a major line has dedicated a full-service, 220-seat dinner sanctuary to the cuisine.

Launching as part of an evening transformation of the popular Razzle Dazzlespace, Ariya is more than just a menu update—it's a deep dive into regional Indian craft.

Named after Sir Richard Branson's own great-great-grandmother, a traveler from Tamil Nadu, the restaurant bridges traditional heritage with modern flair. Sailors can expect a high-energy atmosphere with a curated DJ soundtrack and "jewelry box" inspired decor, all centered around a shared-plate dining concept.

The menu highlights include a Lamb Shank Biryani, Goan Curried Musselsand a Tandoori Pistachio-Crusted Snapper. Virgin is also leaning into India's vibrant street food culture with a dedicated "Chaat" section.

The bar program is equally intentional, offering spice-forward cocktails like the Saffron & Silk(scotch and toasted coconut smoke) and a complimentary jaljeerawelcome sip to open the palate. Best of all? Like all of Virgin's specialty dining, Ariya is fully included in the voyage fare, officially setting a new bar for global cuisine on the high seas.
