Magic Kingdom Makes Major Dining Change for Fall
Walt Disney World is introducing a fresh culinary experience to its flagship theme park just in time for the busy fall travel season.
The Diamond Horseshoe , a historic venue located within Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park, will temporarily launch an exclusive pop-up dining concept. The new operation officially begins on October 4, providing vacationing families with an entirely new frontier-inspired menu.
Travelers looking to experience the limited-time offering can begin booking advance dining reservations starting September 29.
The thematic pop-up represents a strategic shift toward communal dining. The culinary team has crafted a menu built entirely around heavy comfort foods and shareable small plates.
Disney Offers Shareable Plates and Comfort Food
Guests visiting the Liberty Square dining room will find a robust food lineup focused on savory meats, rich cheeses, and bold southwestern spices.
The kitchen is preparing several distinct dishes designed specifically for tables to share and sample together:
-
Savory meats:The menu features a loaded charcuterie board with cured beef and candied bacon, alongside glazed sticky ribs served with cowboy beans.
-
Hearty dips:Diners can share the heavy Queso Fundido, which comes generously topped with barbecue burnt ends and warm tortilla chips.
-
Crispy bites:The culinary team is introducing sweet golden corn fritters perfectly paired with cilantro ranch dressing and red chili honey.
-
Fresh tostadas:The chipotle chicken tostada is fully loaded with queso fresco, lime crema, and pickled cactus salsa.
The communal menu structure encourages parties to order multiple small plates and linger over the frontier fare before heading back out to enjoy the theme park attractions.

Craft Cocktails and Specialty Beverages
To complement the incredibly rich flavors of the food menu , the pop-up introduces a massive expansion to the venue's beverage program.
The mixology team has designed an array of customized mocktails and robust alcoholic pours. Non-alcoholic options include a caramel root beer topped with sweet cream, an orange cream soda, and the Enchanting Ember Lemonade mixed with strawberry and hot honey.
Adult travelers will find a surprisingly deep cocktail roster that cuts through the savory barbecue elements. Highlights include the High Plains Huckleberry vodka drink, a Cactus Rose Margarita, and the bold Coal'd Fashioned mixed with bourbon, cold brew coffee liqueur, and cinnamon syrup.
The venue will also pour a focused selection of wines alongside draft beers like Samuel Adams Boston Lager and Cigar City Jai Alai IPA. With limited seating available inside the historic building, guests should secure advance reservations early to enjoy this unique temporary dining expansion during their upcoming vacation.
