The complimentary second checked bag perk applies directly to Delta SkyMiles Gold, Platinum and Reserve consumer and business cardholders. According to a new study commissioned by the two companies, this benefit hits on a major traveler pain point: 63% of respondents admitted they spend more time stressing over what to pack than planning the actual trip, while 64% of Gen Z travelers confessed to occasionally leaving important items at home just to escape checking a bag.
The baggage perk is also a massive win for remote workers and small business travelers. The study revealed that 41% of business travelers would pack more versatile outfit options for different professional scenarios if they didn't have to worry about the fee for a second bag.

New Rideshare Credits and Sleek New Looks
The baggage upgrade isn't the only perk hitting the runway. Enrolled Delta SkyMiles Gold and Gold Business cardmembers will now receive up to $120 annually in rideshare statement credits upon renewal. The benefit is distributed as up to $10 back each month on eligible U.S. rideshare purchases, making it incredibly easy to offset the card's cost just by heading to and from the airport.

Starting June 4, travelers who apply and are approved by July 15 can tap into massive, limited-time welcome offers.
