It's common for music stars to end up on the silver screen: Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige have all made the leap. In fact, teen pop sensation Mandy Moore was just nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in This Is Us . But unless you have a predominantly teenage fanbase (like Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas or Selena Gomez), it's challenging to make the crossover from TV to radio.
