2014 Soap Opera Thanksgiving Pre-Emptions

Taking a break for the holidays.

Soaps.com has daytime programming notes surrounding which soap operas will and won't air on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Please see the pre-emptions below:

On Thursday November 27:

ABC's "General Hospital" will air an encore of its May 30 episode. Read our General Hospital Recap: Port Chuckles for a refresher.

CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless" will not be seen due to NFL Football coverage.

NBC's "Days of our Lives" will be pre-empted due to the National Dog Show.

On Friday November 28:

ABC's "General Hospital" will not be seen due to a network pre-emption.

CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" will not be seen due to coverage of NCAA Football. However, "The Young and the Restless" will air a repeat of its September 30 episode Y&R's Nick and Sharon's bachelor/bachelorette parties.

NBC's "Days of our Lives" will not be seen due to NHL Hockey: New York Rangers at Philadelphia Flyers.
