Adam Sandler Crashes Oscars 2025 in ‘Snazzy Gym Shorts’ and ‘Fluffy Sweatshirt’ Outfit
- Adam Sandler made a statement at the 2025 Oscars by wearing a $175 aqua blue hoodie, basketball shorts, and sneakers, showcasing his nonchalant style.
Hollywood stars can spend days, sometimes months, preparing their outfits for the Oscars . The ceremony, the last of the awards season, is considerably one of the most influential red carpet events when it comes to high fashion. However, dressing up for the occasion can be much easier if your name is Adam Sandler .
At the 2025 Academy Awards, Sandler crashed Conan O'Brien's opening monologue right after the host complimented the guests for being "properly dressed."

"Adam, what are you wearing?" O'Brien asked, adding that Sandler was "dressed like a guy playing video poker at 2 a.m."
"Nobody even thought about what I was wearing until you brought it up," Sandler said. "I like the way I look. Because I'm a good person. I don't care about what I wear and what I don't wear. My snazzy gym shorts and fluffy sweatshirt offend you so much that you had to mock me in front my peers!"

The actor wore a $175 aqua blue hoodie by Aviator Nation, basketball shorts and Under Armour Steph Curry 11 sneakers.
Known for his nonchalant style, Sandler has once topped Google's Year in Search report in the style category. In 2021, the actor was the first name on the list of most searched "celebrity outfits."

The 97th Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars , took place on Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Conan O'Brien hosted the ceremony, honoring the best in cinema from the past year.
