Alyssa Milano Wears Towering Ruthie Davis Platform Pumps at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscars Viewing Party 2025

Alyssa Milano served up a sultry, boudoir-inspired look on the red carpet at the Elton John AIDS Foundation's annual Oscars viewing party in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The "Charmed" alum wore a sheer, black lace jumpsuit featuring a high neckline, long sleeves and a corset bodice that laced up the front to form a dainty bow. An asymmetrical black maxi skirt with a steep side slit was layered atop the edgy, floral-print catsuit by Retrofête.

As for shoes, the actress slipped into towering platform pumps courtesy of Ruthie Davis. The style featured a rounded, closed toe and large platform soles balanced out by ultra-high heels. Ruthie Davis is an eponymous luxury footwear label known for its daring, larger-than-life platforms.

In a 2018 interview, Davis told Footwear News about her big break in the footwear industry. "When I launched Ruthie Davis, a pivotal moment was when Beyoncé started wearing my shoes — that's always going to be an aha moment," she said. The designer also counts Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Zendaya, Carrie Underwood and Halsey as fans. Prior to starting her company in 2006, Davis spent time in senior roles at Reebok, Ugg and Tommy Hilfiger. She is also known for partnering with Disney on a number of shoe collaborations.

Milano's stylist Jordan LaValle took to Instagram tonight to share the look they worked on together for the evening. "This MAGIC woman @milano_alyssa bringing it for Oscar @theacademy weekend," he captioned the post, which showcased her outfit and jewelry. She accessorized with a smattering of eye-catching rings, as well as dangly earrings.
Milano has never held back when it comes to style and has been known to wear contrasting pieces together, such as Dr. Martens platform boots paired with a frilly pink lace dress. Since rising to fame in the '80s on "Who's the Boss?," she's stepped out in everything from strappy sandals and espadrille wedges to classic pumps and ankle boots.
