3 Babies in 6 Weeks?! A Massive Baby Boom is Blessing the Cast of 'When Calls the Heart'—See Which Stars are Expecting!

What's in the water over in Hope Valley? The town will soon be aflutter with diapers and applesauce because there seems to be a baby boom amongst the cast of When Calls the Heart ! That's right: Three of the series regulars are expecting and their due dates all are within six weeks of each other!
Read on to find out who's expecting in the beloved cast.
Kevin McGarry(Constable Nathan Grant) and his wife, Kayla Wallaceare expecting their first child.
Wallace—who also played Fiona on WCTH —is currently starring as Rebecca Savage on the Paramount+ series Landman . Wallace announced the pregnancy and debuted her beautiful baby bump at the Season 2 premiere of Landman in November . The couple tied the knot in 2024 and this will be their first child together.

Erin Krakow (Elizabeth Thornton) and Ben Rosenbaum are also expecting their first child.
Next, there's Erin Krakow, who plays Elizabeth Thornton and is also an executive producer on the show. Over the summer, she married longtime love Ben Rosenbaum—who plays Mike Hickam on the hit series. The couple already shares a fur baby Willoughby—who they adopted before their June 2025 wedding. But on Nov. 26, they announced that they were pregnant with their first child via Instagram:
Chris McNally (Lucas Bouchard) and his partner Julie Gonzalo are expecting their second child.
And last but not least is Chris McNally, who plays Lucas Bouchard. Over the weekend, he revealed the news at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City, Missouri. During a When Calls the Heart cast panel, McNally surprised a room full of fans by pulling an ultrasound out of his pants pocket and revealing that he and partner Julie Gonzalowere expecting their second child together! The couple met while filming The Sweetest Heart and also co-starred in 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost . "Season 14, we'll be opening up the Hope Valley nursery," joked Rosenbaum during the panel.

Other cast members have been pregnant during the show's current 13-season run: Andrea Brookshas had three children, while Pascale Huttonwas pregnant during her first full season on the show.
It was so sweet for McNally to reveal the news during a fan event. "Hearties are far more than a fan base, they are a connected community, as loyal and supportive as the characters of Hope Valley," said Samantha DiPippo, who is the Senior Vice President of Programming at Hallmark Media. "It is an honor to tell stories of hope, resilience, humor and romance that continue to resonate with millions of viewers for twelve seasons and beyond."
Season 13 of When Calls the Heart premieres on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel. Watch a preview below!
The first twelve seasons of When Calls the Heart can be streamed on Hallmark+. Additionally, full seasons and individual episodes can be purchased or rented through Apple TV, Prime Video, Google Play and other similar platforms.
Hallmark Media recently announced a prequel series to When Calls the Heart . Hope Valley: 1874 starts production this month and will star Bethany Joy Lenz, Benjamin Ayres, and Jill Hennessy. The new series is set to premiere in March 2026 on Hallmark+.
