Adult Swim Developing ‘Heist Safari’ High-Octane Comedy From ‘Dexter’s Laboratory’ Creator Genndy Tartakovsky
EXCLUSIVE: Dexter's Laboratory creator Genndy Tartakovsky is developing Heist Safari for Adult Swim.
The show is described as an "animated high octane action comedy," telling the story of three frog brothers who rob a bank. "Seems simple enough, but the execution is special as !#&$??!!!!," reads the logline.

The show comes a year after it was pitched on stage to Adult Swim President Michael Ouweleen at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
One year on, Tartakovsky has been almost omnipresent at this year's Annecy. He has been promoting his Netflix movie Fixed, which is part of his Sony Animation deal, and sat on a standing-room-only panel celebrating 25 years of Cartoon Network Studios.
Tartakovsky is an animation icon who has been behind hits including Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack and Hotel Transylvania. On the Cartoon Network panel , he said he feels he has been given a new lease of life. "It feels like when I was younger, I feel like that energy makes me still want to do new things," he said.
