Ben Affleck Has 2-Word Response to the Title He's Earned Following His Divorce

Ben Affleck has been dubbed Hollywood's most eligible bachelor following his 2024 split from Jennifer Lopez — and he seems totally cool with it.

TMZ published a video of the Accountant 2 star in West Hollywood on May 8 when a reporter asked him how the single life was treating him.

"Very well," he said before heading into Lavo Ristorante.

Later in the evening, the paparazzo caught up with Affleck again, this time asking him how he feels about being the most eligible bachelor in Hollywood, posing the question in Spanish. Affleck laughed and responded, "muy bien, muy bien," (or very good, very good), not missing a beat.

Then, Affleck was asked (in Spanish) if he still likes Latinas, to which he replied, "sí, por supuesto que sí," which means, "yes, of course, yes."

The 52-year-old split from Lopez last year after nearly two years of marriage. The former couple finalized their divorce in January. Affleck opened up about his split in an interview with GQ that was published two months later.

While discussing the documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told — which is about his relationship with Lopez — Affleck cautioned that things that people may have picked up on aren't necessarily the things that caused the demise of his marriage.

"I think it's important to say that wasn't the cause of some major fracture. It's not like you can watch that documentary and go, 'Oh, now I understand the issues that these two had,' " he told the outlet.

Affleck was previously married to Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children. He hasn't gone public with another relationship since he and Lopez broke up.
