Boston Calling music group cancels performance due to ‘medical circumstance’
An iconic artist group scheduled to perform at the first day of Boston Calling canceled their act just hours before they were supposed to take the stage.
The group TLC — with members Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas — will no longer be performing on Friday, according to an announcement from Boston Calling organizers an hour before gates opened Friday.
"Due to an unexpected medical circumstance, TLC will no longer be able to perform at Boston Calling tonight," the statement read. The group had been scheduled to perform on the Green Stage from 4:40 p.m. until 5:40 p.m.
The cancellation caused a shift in the performance schedule on the Green Stage for Friday and a new addition to the lineup — Boston's own Dalton & The Sheriffs.

Bebe Stockwell and Holy Roller's performances will go on as planned on the Green Stage at 1:30 p.m. and at 2:10 p.m., respectively.
However, Dalton & The Sheriffs will now perform at 2:50 p.m. on the Green Stage.
Wilderado's performance time has been adjusted to 3:45 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., and Max McNown now will take the stage from 4:40 p.m. until 5:40 p.m.
Sheryl Crow, Megan Moroney and Luke Combs' performance times were not affected by the schedule change.
Boston Calling begins at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Harvard Athletic Complex and continues through the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
