Disneyland Just Launched a New Way to See the Park—and It’s Not Your Average Tour
- Disneyland is launching a new guided experience called The Women Who Make the Magic Guided Tour, starting on March 6, which focuses on the female creators behind iconic park attractions.
If you’ve ever walked through a Disneytheme park and wondered how a group of artists managed to turn a simple sketch into a global icon, a new experience at the "Happiest Place on Earth" is about to pull back the curtain.
Starting March 6, Disneylandis launching a brand-new guided experience that trades the usual trivia for a deep dive into the hidden history of the park’s most legendary attractions.
The Women Who Make the Magic Guided Tour is designed to spotlight the powerhouse creators whose names aren't always on the front of the map, but whose fingerprints are all over the park.
From the bold, colorful whimsy of Mary Blair—the artistic force who gave "it’s a small world" its signature look—to Leota Toombs, the Imagineer who literally became the face of the Haunted Mansion’s Madame Leota, the tour explores how these women shaped the visual language of our childhoods.
