Fans Saddened by Latest Taylor Swift News
Taylor Swift fans can be a very protective bunch. Back in March, Swifties could not help but air their grievances after stolen photos of the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, made their rounds all over social media.
More than a few fans were not happy with how Swift and Kelce were photographed paparazzi-style during a private date night in New York City. The couple has been lying low over the past couple of months, and the fact that some folks just refuse to give them their privacy angered the Swifties.
A fair number of her fans were feeling quite emotional again on Wednesday after the American Music Awards announced its list of nominees for this year's show. Swift, whose 40 wins stand as the all-time AMA record, was nominated for six awards this year, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for "The Tortured Poets Department."
Supporters quickly noticed, however, that she was snubbed from the Best Music Video category. The fact that "Fortnight," Swift's massive hit with Post Malone, was not named as a nominee saddened Swifties on social media.
"No MV 😢" a post on X read.
"I'm with you! That master piece got overlooked. 😭😭😭" replied a fan.
"the fortnight music video is actually so beautiful and well-made. i don't know why it was completely robbed at all the big award shows," another said .

"Like even the grammys at least nominated fortnight, what is this mess😭😭" a reaction read.
"not nominating FORTNIGHT is a CRIME. #AMAs you know that mv was a masterpiece. Did you intentionally snubbed it or are you preparing a special award for Fortnight MV?" asked a user.
"FORTNIGHT DESERVED," declared another.
Swifties just could not help but complain about the music video snub despite the fact that she was nominated in six other categories. Whatever the case, the 35-year-old will remain the winningest artist in AMA history after the awards ceremony in Las Vegas on May 26.
The closest active artist to Swift's record is Justin Bieber (18), but it's likely the "Karma" singer will widen the gap even further during this year's AMA's.
