It's never a dull day for Captain Olivia Benson ( Mariska Hargitay ) as the twists and turns of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit take viewers on a wild ride.
Season 26 has been in no shortage of drama as Benson and her fearless squad tackle whatever intense case comes their way. Benson has been fighting tooth and nail to deliver justice, going above and beyond to track down criminals and drag them to court. From intense courtroom showdowns to blood-pumping squad room drama, Season 26 has been jam-packed with action, but weekly viewers will need to press pause on new episodes.
"It's so beautiful to have the privilege to actually watch the evolution," Hargitay told TODAY while thinking of her many years as Benson. "As I see it and look back, Olivia Benson is sort of a perfect feminist story because we actually see this woman grow into her power."
