McDonald's is proving that a Happy Meal toy is fun for all ages.
The latest toy offer in the children's meal features a mash-up of two beloved franchises: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Hello Kitty.
"McDonald's teamed up with Sanrio and Viacom for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Hello Kitty And Friends crossover Happy Meal toys," Instagram foodie influencer Markie Devo revealed.
According to the post, which gave a first look at the collectibles, there are 12 in total, with one available per Happy Meal.
Mashups include Badtz-Maru X Leonardo, Cinnamoroll X Michelangelo, Hello Kitty X Donatello, Kuromi X Raphael and many more.
They will be available starting August 12th in the US, while supplies last.
Naturally, fans couldn't wait to get their hands on them, with one noting, "Need these. Guess ill be getting happy meals for a while. Glad they're in the US."
"Omggg," another wrote, as someone else chimed in, "That's Hardddddd 🍕."
"This feels like a random mashup. But it's adorable," another exclaimed. Fans over on the SnackBetch social media account echoed the sentiment, writing, "This is a very interesting crossover."
"I'm obsessed!!😩😭" someone noted, as another said, "'Too cute! Definitely collecting em.'"
"I'd love to buy and collect just the toys without the meal😆," someone else added, and the good news is, that's totally possible.
According to McDonald's , "Happy Meal® toys can be purchased separately to a Happy Meal®. Subject to availability and any Fair Ordering Policy in place for a specific themed Happy Meal. Please ask a crew member at the counter."
