While springtime in Nashville ushers in the chirping birds and blooming flowers, its also the kickoff of outdoor concert season and another chock-full month of genre-spanning live shows.
Nashville's upcoming slate of May concerts will bring some of the most prolific rock bands and country stars center stage.
From Metallica and Wilco to Jelly Roll and Tim McGraw , this month's impressive live show schedule has something for everyone.

May 1 & 3: Metallica
Rock band Metallica will be bringing two nights of rock 'n' roll to Nashville's Nissan Stadium on May 1 and 3.
The band's "M72 Tour" shows will feature two completely different sets and openers on each night. The May 1 show will feature opening acts Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies, and on the May 3 concert, bands Ice Nine Kills and Limp Bizkit will hit the stage.

May 6 & 8: Pearl Jam
Pearl Jam is headed to Bridgestone Arena for two shows on May 6 and 8.
The band — which consists of lead singer Eddie Vedder, bassist Jeff Ament, guitarists Stone Gossard and Mike McCready, and drummer Matt Cameron — is hitting the stage on their "Dark Matter World Tour" alongside supporting acts Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.
The Seattle rock group released their latest record, "Dark Matter," in 2024.

May 9 & 10: Amy Grant
On May 9 and 10, singer-songwriter Amy Grant will perform at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.
The pop and Christian musician, known for tracks "Baby, Baby" and "That's What Love Is For," will play two shows alongside Lori McKenna for "Mother's Day at the Mother's Church."

May 9: Wilco
Chicago rock band Wilco is headed to The Pinnacle on May 9 for their "Sweet and Sour Spring 2025 Tour" alongside opener Waxahatchee.
The group — comprised of Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt, Glenn Kotche, Mikael Jorgensen, Pat Sansone and Nels Cline — released their records "Cruel Country" in 2022 and "Cousin" in 2023.

May 16: Carly Pearce
Country singer Carly Pearce is headed to the Ryman Auditorium for a May 16 show.
Pearce is hitting the stage on her "Hummingbird World Tour" in support of her 2024 record of the same name, which included hits "We Don't Fight Anymore" with Chris Stapleton and "Truck On Fire."

May 20: AC/DC
Rock icons AC/DC will perform at Nissan Stadium on May 20.
The "Thunderstruck" and "Highway To Hell" group will visit Nashville on their "Power Up Tour," alongside support from opener The Pretty Reckless. The band released their record "Power Up" in 2020, which included standout tracks "Realize" and "Demon Fire."

May 21: Halsey
Pop singer-songwriter and actress Halsey will hit the stage at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater on May 21.
The "Closer" and "Without Me" singer is headed to Music City on her "For My Last Trick Tour" with opener The Warning. In 2024, Halsey released her latest record, "The Great Impersonator." In February, she dropped the single "Safeword."

May 23-24: Eric Church
Country singer Eric Church will hit the stage at Nashville's newest venue The Pinnacle for two nights of shows.
On May 23 and 24, the "Springsteen" and "Drink in my Hand" singer will perform two "Evangeline vs. The Machine Live" shows in promotion of his upcoming album, which will release on May 2.

May 28: Allison Russell
On May 28, singer-songwriter and Nashvillian Allison Russell will perform at the Ryman Auditorium.
The "Nightflyer" singer will hit the stage as a part of her "All Returners Tour," alongside support from opener Kara Jackson.
Russell released her record "The Returner" in 2023 and the recent single "Comes A Time," a collab with The Doobie Brothers, in April.

May 30: Nightly
On May 30, the Nashville indie rock band Nightly will perform at the Ryman Auditorium.
The group will play their biggest headline show to date, alongside support from openers Jonah Marais and Molly Grace.
The "Twenty Something" band released their third record "Songs To Drive To" in March and their single "Everything Can Change" in April.

May 29-31: Music City Rodeo with Reba McEntire, Jelly Roll, Tim McGraw
The Music City Rodeo will take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena from May 29 to 31.
The upcoming rodeo, which is Nashville's first and only PRCA Pro Rodeo, will feature three nights of performances and celebration of country culture. On May 29, Reba will hit the stage, which will be followed by Jelly Roll the next evening, and Tim McGraw on May 31.
