1. "I had a movie-dinner date with a guy many years ago. Later, at the restaurant, I ordered an entree of toasted artichoke hearts. When it came, he looked at it, puzzled, and said, 'You know, I've eaten a lot of fish, but never had artichoke before.'"

2. "My ex and I were hanging out in his dorm room when one of his dorm mates burst through the door and said, 'Hey guys, y'know the Nintendo Wii, is it made by Nintendo?' We stared at her and asked her to repeat the question."
3. "A coworker once asked me, 'What day is Easter this year?" I responded 'April 4th.' She then said, 'No, not the date, the day.' Ummmm. Easter Sunday is always on Sunday."

At the end, when I'm visibly in tears, he says, 'It's okay, it was just a movie. It's not like it really happened.' He was a grown ass adult man and had never heard of the Titanic??? Needless to say, it was our last date."

15. "A few years ago, my brother-in-law was talking about how he was doing landscaping work for some rich woman in the late '90s. He said she had an original Van Gogh that she bought for 'like 5,000 Euros.' Because euros weren't a thing in the '90s, I asked which country she bought it in. My BIL said, 'Europe.' My husband just stared at him and was like, 'You know Europe isn't one big country right?'"
16. "Once made tea for a friend who asked for a spoon to stir with, so I put the spoon in the teacup and handed it to her. She proceeded to take a sip with the spoon still in the cup and then yell, 'WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!?!' when the spoon hit her face after she tilted the cup back to drink from it. I got a real shocked Pikachu face from her when I pointed out that she could have easily removed the spoon from the cup herself prior to taking a drink."

I look and the driver has both hands on the bottom of the steering wheel and say, 'That's not ten and two.' He says, 'Yes it is! Two hands, ten fingers!'"

18. "My ex kept asking me to buy a tea kettle because he wanted to bring tea on his commute to work. We were broke at the time, so I told him to make tea using a regular pot, like I did. He was floored, like, 'Whaaaat? You can make tea in a pot?!' I said, 'Yeah, you just boil the water like you would in a kettle, then make tea with it?' He was excited to learn this information. The next morning, he went off to work. I got up later and came out to the kitchen, where I found an ENORMOUS soup pot on the stove with 12 tea bags hanging down into it. The kicker? There was sugar and cream around the rim."
